Gloria Steinem
Gloria Steinem was born on March 25, 1934 in Toledo, Ohio. She was recognized for the women’s liberation movement in the 1970’s. She co-founded Ms. Magazine which was the first feminist magazine. Many people lashed out and there was lots of negative press about the magazine but they kept producing new editions. Gloria wrote many political pieces about feminism and domestic abuse. Gloria Steinem is still alive to this day fighting for equal rights for women
